Executive Recovery Coach

About

As an Executive Recovery Coach, and sober since 1988, I have been where you are. I started my therapeutic work after thirty years as a founder and an executive in the mortgage banking and brokerage business.  My psychotherapy training, along with my long business career in the corporate and finance sector, is especially well-suited for business executives.

My Approach Is Different

Traditional psychotherapy relies heavily on cognitive approaches, and while there is a place for this, deep-rooted change or transformation rarely results. I use a body-centered approach that promotes a fundamental change that is long-lasting and empowering. The tools learned while obtaining long-term sobriety are particularly applicable for this work.

If you’re feeling stuck, angry, unfulfilled, or parts of yourself are at war with one another, or most importantly, you want more vitality, better connection with others, and a more serene existence, I can help.

The Experience You Need

As an LADC licensed therapist with a MS in Addiction Studies, I’ve developed evidence-based skills with an explicit focus on addiction studies. For over a decade, I have volunteered with the Connecticut Department of Corrections, helping those struggling with addiction.  I am also a graduate of Hartford Family Institute’s post graduate mindfulness-based Gestalt psychotherapy intensive program.
